While working with an automotive client, we designed and progressively die-stamped aluminized steel baffle that would become part of an automotive muffler. We developed the design of the 3″ part, also known as a collector, and the inspection fixtures from customer-supplied prints. We ensured it met the tight tolerance specification of ±.010″.
The aluminized steel offers excellent anti-oxidization properties and is commonly used in applications where the steel base must remain at temperatures below 1,472°F.
We produced 1,500,000 for the client by leveraging our employees’ know-how as well as the management systems that are an integral part of our daily routines.
